In 2017 Steinbach announced a new series, the North American Santa Series. This series takes on this classic holiday icon with a refreshing new design inspired by the beauty of North America. The Steinbach Gingerbread Chef Santa Nutcracker from Kurt Adler is the 4th in Steinbach's North American Santa Series. This gingerbread-inspired nutcracker features Santa Claus in a gingerbread suit with details such as peppermint candies, gumdrops, icing, and a candy-decorated chef hat. In his one hand is a Christmas tree and snowflake gingerbread cookie dangle and in the other is a red and white peppermint candy staff topped with a gingerbread snowflake. At his feet is a basket with a gingerbread bag filled with gingerbread cookies and Christmas sweets. Like all Steinbach creations, this piece is hand-crafted in Germany with the finest care and attention to detail.
